Macaron Care & Freshness

How long do macarons stay fresh?

Our macarons are best enjoyed within 4–5 days of delivery or pickup. When stored properly in the refrigerator, they maintain their ideal texture and flavor. Allow them to come to room temperature before serving.

Do macarons need to be refrigerated upon arrival?

Yes — please refrigerate upon arrival. Our macarons are perishable and should be stored in the refrigerator to maintain freshness and structure. Before enjoying, let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes for the best texture and flavor.

Can I Freeze Macarons?

Yes. Place the box inside an airtight bag and freeze for up to 1 month. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator, then bring to room temperature before serving.

Are your macarons made fresh?

Yes. Our macarons are made in small batches and shipped fresh to ensure exceptional quality and flavor.

Are your macarons Gluten-Free?

All of our classic macarons are gluten-free and made without wheat or gluten-containing ingredients.

Our Dubai Chocolate Macaron does contain gluten and is sold separately in its own dedicated box to avoid cross-contamination. This flavor is never mixed with our gluten-free assortments.

Are your macarons nut-free?

No. Our macarons are made with almond flour and may contain traces of other nuts. They are not suitable for those with severe nut allergies.

Are your macarons Dairy Free?

Most flavors contain dairy, such as butter or cream. Vegan options are available.

Do you offer vegan macarons?

Yes. We offer a curated selection of vegan macarons, available online in our Vegan Gift Box or Build-Your-Own Box, and in-store when available.

How many calories are in a macaron?

Each macaron contains approximately 60–80 calories, depending on the flavor.

Ordering & Shipping

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes — we ship macarons nationwide within the U.S. using insulated packaging and ice packs to maintain freshness.

When do orders ship?

Orders ship Monday through Wednesday. Orders placed after Wednesday at 2 PM EST will ship the following Monday.

How long does shipping take?

Most orders arrive within 1–3 business days, depending on your location.

Can I choose a delivery date?

We ship as close as possible to your selected date, but delivery dates cannot be guaranteed once packages are in the carrier’s hands.

What happens if my package is delayed due to weather or carrier issues?

While delays are rare, weather or carrier-related issues may occasionally affect delivery timing. We carefully pack every order with insulated materials and ice packs to help protect freshness during transit. Once an order ships, delivery timing is managed by the carrier.

Can I ship to a P.O. Box?

Unfortunately, we do not ship to P.O. Boxes at this time.

Yes — our macarons make a perfect gift and are packaged beautifully.

Will prices be included in the box?

No. Prices are never included in gift shipments.

Do you offer catering or corporate gifting?

Yes. We create macaron assortments for weddings, events, and corporate gifts.

How far in advance should I place an event order?

We recommend placing orders at least 2 weeks in advance.

Do you offer custom macarons or colors?

Yes. Customization is available for qualifying orders. Please contact us for details.

How many macarons should I order per guest?

We recommend 3–4 macarons per person, depending on the event.

Do you offer wholesale?

Yes! If you are interested in becoming a Wholesale Partner, please fill out our Wholesale Form and we will reach out in 1-2 business days. Once we receive the required paperwork, we will set you up with a wholesale account and you can start ordering macarons in bulk.

Policies & Support

What if my order arrives damaged?

Mistakes happen and although our refund policy is no refund on food, we do wish to accommodate issues or mistakes.

Due to the perishable nature of our product, we don't allow returns or exchanges. Depending on the circumstance, Olivia Macaron will issue a store credit or send you a new shipment. For damage during shipping, we require photographs of the external shipping box as well as the damaged product. Please email photos of the damaged product and packaging to info@oliviamacaron.com within 2 days of delivery, and we will work to resolve the issue.



Do you offer refunds or cancellations?

Because macarons are perishable, orders cannot be canceled or refunded once they have shipped.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we ship within the United States only.

Do you offer military or first responder discounts?

Yes. We proudly offer discounts through GovX for military members, veterans, families, and first responders.
