Shipping & Order Policy

Olivia Macaron is not responsible for delays in delivery times. Please review our shipping policy before selecting your shipping date. 


SHIPPING AND ORDER PROCESSING
  • Olivia Macaron ships macarons throughout the United States using UPS as our third party shipping carrier.
  • Shipping method available to you are chosen based on packages arriving within 2 days from origin to your location.
  • Olivia Macaron ships orders nationwide ONLY MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY. This avoids possible weekend overlays. We do not ship nationwide on Thursdays, Fridays, weekends, or holidays.
  • Orders placed after 3:00PM EST on the Requested Shipment Day will be shipped the following shipping day (Monday – Wednesday).
  • We do not ship for Saturday deliveries.
  • Once a tracking number has been generated, we are unable to cancel your order. 
NATIONWIDE SHIPPING GUARANTEE
  • Suspension of UPS Service Guarantee: Effective March 26, 2020 and until further notice as the effects of the Coronavirus impacting UPS' infrastructure, UPS has suspended the UPS Service Guarantee for all shipments from any origin to any destination. 
  • Olivia Macaron is not responsible for delays in delivery times due to incorrect or incomplete addresses, and/or shipping carrier delays.
  • Olivia Macaron is not responsible for packages once they leave our facility.
  • Shipments that are returned or require rerouting due to incorrect addressed will be subject to additional charges for reshipment and/or relabeling for UPS.
  • Shipping charges will not be refunded for late deliveries in the event the business is closed or if the recipient is not available to receive the package when delivered.
  • UPS may require a signature for delivery at the discretion of the driver.
  • Estimated delivery timelines do not take unexpected weather delays into consideration, which may affect shipping and arrival dates.
  • We are currently unable to ship to P.O. Boxes. We apologize for the inconvenience.
  • To guarantee the freshness of our macarons upon arrival, certain zip codes require 2nd Day Air® or Next Day Air® shipping where ground shipping is not available. 
  • Olivia Macaron reserves the right to switch courier and delivery method at the company's discretion. 
LOCAL DELIVERY
  • Orders can be delivered using our third-party partners including DoorDash, UberEats, and Grubhub within the Washington, D.C. area.
  • If your address is not eligible for local delivery, we recommend placing an online order on our website for store pick-up for same-day deliveries. All other online orders outside of our third-party delivery radius are eligible for nationwide shipping.
ORDER PICK UP

Orders may be picked up at

  • Olivia Macaron’s Georgetown shop, located at, 3222 M Street NW, Washington, DC, 20007. (Located next to JCrew Men entrance)
  • Olivia Macaron Tysons Corner Center Kiosk, 1961 Chain Bridge Rd., McLean, VA 22102. Our kiosk is located on the second floor between Zara and Victoria Secret.
FRESHNESS GUARANTEED
  • All Nationwide Shipments are sent using overnight or two-day service in a cooler-bag with an ice pack to ensure the products’ quality and freshness during transit. The ice pack helps the macarons stay cold during transit and may be thawed by the time you receive your package. PLEASE NOTE that thawed ice packs are okay and in no way indicate a lack of freshness!
  • Olivia Macaron’s products are shipped in specially-designed packaging that ensures quality and freshness. Despite this, because of macarons’ natural fragility, some cracking or breakage of the macarons may occur during transport. This will not affect the taste or quality of our products.
  • If refrigerated, all macarons will keep fresh up to 5 days after pick up or delivery.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, Olivia Macaron does not accept returns.
ROUTE PACKAGE PROTECTION
  • Olivia Macaron partners with Route Package Protection to ensure the safety of all packages shipped with UPS. By opting out of Route insurance at check out, Olivia Macaron is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen packages. 

CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS

Orders may not be cancelled within two business days of the ship or pick-up date. For order cancellation or modification requests, please contact us at (202) 965-1000 immediately. We will do our best to accommodate your needs; however, such requests may not be possible due to time constraints. Accommodations will be made on a case-by-case basis.
